Van een plaatselijk popfestivalletje tot een meerdaags metalfestival met internationale weerklank: Graspop Metal Meeting bevestigt jaar na jaar zijn reputatie met ijzersterke affiches, een vlekkeloze organisatie en een gigantische publieksopkomst. Een moordend aantal decibels. Een uitstekend overzicht van de vele subgenres die metal rijk is. Zowel onbekende groepen ontdekken als loos gaan op ‘bigger than life’ headliners. Met Channel Zero, Motörhead, Slayer, Soulfly, Kiss en Aerosmith strikte GMM weer enkele absolute metalen grootheden.
